so saturday was sorta exhausting...
but paid off. westfield was great, lot of people, lot of energy. A gym isnt the best place for a concert but whatre you gunna do. We hauled ass out west feild, it was like 540ish? maybe? i forget basically we knew we were going to be late. It was smooth sailing till the toll on the mass pike. crawled through traffic for a good half hour. J and G made friends just rolling their windows down and talking to people, which included the guys in a big van painted with flowers and peace signs from bumper to bumper. They were on a bike team? i dunno they gave us a bottle opener in exchange for some stickers... they were cool. Will spent the time in traffic trying to remember how to play maria. We eventually made it to the dise at about 750, literally running gear in and setting up as fast as possible to sound check and play by 9, which we did. had to hold the doors for maybe 20 minutes, oh well.
the set was rockin of course, everyone missed wayno but he was clearly too busy picking up all his new groupies after his set with pete at westfield (kidding). I think the line after the show was "wbra was having sex with his bass".. he was on fire all day, his solos were sick at westfield and the dise. short set, 45 mins, but a solid set none the least. post show burritos were delicious, garrett's was like the size of his head (it was also a vegetarian burrito.. with chicken). By the end of the night everyone was more than exhausted.
solid two shows
