Heres a thread to post any questions you have about learning any Barefoot songs.  There are plenty of people on the forums to help you out so post away.

Well I guess im the first one to use my thread... Anyway I've been tryin to figure out  "I Prefer" I can play the verses and the riffs in the chorus but i cant figure out the actual chords in the chorus and its really bugging me.  So If any of you know how to play it. (I know Jay and Will keep tabs on the forum) I would be very happy...

gosh...ok here is how to play it...

verse:
E.... D..... A
x .....0 .....0
9 ....10 ...10
9 ....11 ....9
9 ....12 ....11
11... 0 .....0
0 .....x ......x

then the part "whoa somethin's gotta give" you play the above chords in the different strumming pattern followed by this the first and third times in this part..

e--------------------------
B-------9h11p9---------
G------------------11-----
D----------------------12
A--------------------------
E--------------------------

Then the second time you play...

e--------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------
G-----------------------11s13------
D----------------------------------14
A---11h12h14p11---------------
E-------------------------------------

next part is..."its a simple life..." you play this...
E.... B..... D.... A
0 ....0 ......0 ....0
0.....0 ......0 ....0
9 ....8.......7.... 6
9 ....9...... 7.... 7
7 ....9 ......5.... 7
0.... 7 ......x ....5

During the harmonica solo (yeah gcup) you play the same as above except for the transfer to the part where it goes...
C#m .....B .....A
0 ...........0 ......0
5 ...........0...... 0
6........... 8 ......6
6 ...........9 ......7
4........... 9...... 7
x ...........7 ......5 .........letting the A ring the last time....

then play the verse part and mute the chords and eventually go back into the regular verse and outro is just like the simple life part

I'm stuck trying to figure out the lead in "Home".  I have the finger-picking down, but my version of the song is so corrupted by itunes that I can't pcik up the solos.  Any help?

Bb  - x13331    or   688566
Db -  x46664

Gb -  244322

intro lick
-------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------
-----5b6r5-3-5-3-----------------------------------------------
---------------------5--------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------

chord progression
G-F-C9-D9

finishing lick
-------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------
------3/7-3-------------------3---------------------------------
--------------------------3h5----5------------------------------

repeat the progression for the verse

then the prechorus:

Cm - Bb - F

the rest of the song repeats pretty much with different uses of the same progressions

Good luck

Would it be at all possible to get the harmonica tabs to "i prefer" (the solo) or any songs in a C diatonic harmonica?
